As much as I sneered at the thought of a second MiB sequel this looks like it might be quite fun.

As watchable as Will Smith is, I'll be amazed if this turns out to be anything less than a train wreck considering they started shooting with only the first third of the script written.
In their defense, it was only the third act (so a quarter of the film) that wasn't written .

Yeah, that looks like it could be a lot of fun, even. Never bothered to see the first sequel... maybe I'll make a thing of it.
The first sequel is hideous. Probably best to just watch the first one again.

I think there's a couple of jokes, somewhere, but it's a mess.

Still, it should be a good film for a Sunday afternoon and blessing to those blessed with their own little Rugscrats.

Nice to see Depp is playing against type and going for a more subtle, realistic approach to the character.
I wondered if there was going to be any backlash of the type "why couldn't they cast a Native American actor", but if there has been I haven't heard it.

I wondered if there was going to be any backlash of the type "why couldn't they cast a Native American actor", but if there has been I haven't heard it.
The answer of course is; economics.

It's true. His dad used to work with my dad. It's not all that uncommon in the southern United States.Depp claims his great grandmother was Cherokee or Creek Indian.
Not saying 1/8th or 1/16th is all that big a deal.
