Every time I see a reference to "Benson" I keep wondering what "Star Trek" roles could have opened up for the rest of the cast.

Now I am really wishing Robert Guillaume made a guest appearance on Deep Space 9. He and Rene Auberjonois were hilarious together.
I have this stuck in my head
Too much thinking about sitcoms yesterday I guess. Last night I couldn't get the Punky Brewster theme out of my head.

I do love that chorus. I'd have gone mad for this as a kid.

It is kind of amazing how long tv show themes were in the 80s. Especially sitcom themes. The Bosom Buddies opening was an epic tale
Because of the increasing time given to advertising there would barely be time to have a show if the credits were still that long.

Agreed. I love that theme song. I remember in the 1990 the company with rights to the show lost the rights to use the theme song. One day I saw the opening credits with a bland, generic theme song and almost threw a shoe at the tv. Damn copyright law.

Because of the commercials for the new videogame Prototype 2, I have this song stuck in my head:
I'm just thankful I'm not suicidal at this point...
Love this song, often play it in the mornings before the kids come in. I often get odd looks from other members of staff

When it's time to reboot the thread, can the title be "Close to the Edge" or something?
