Usually she's trying to annoy Steve.

i'm putting you on my enemies list, jones.

OMG! What's she doing on a comics forum? Posted Image

i ask myself that on a biweekly basis.

No.

Preserves are the collective containing jam, jelly, chutney, marmalade, etc. Jam is just a small part of that group.

There's not really much more to tell. Only other piece of info I have to impart is that jam has bits in it, jelly does not (as it is made from the juice and not the fruit itself).

Pickle / chutney... two entities or one? Pickle is made by salting then storing in vinegar. Not sure about chutney... it doesn't taste very salty. My preserve knowledge has reached its limits here.

I just remembered I had the strangest dream last night. John Layman turned up at my old place in Berlin and asked me if he could stay for a while because he had to hide from his former employers. From what I recall he had this boring ass office job and decided to quit but the company he worked for wasn’t accepting resignations and chose to hunt him down instead.

Gravy is not a preserve and therefore it's inclusion in this discussion is moot.

The earwig / chutney fact is good though, I shall add it to my preserve repertoire.

The night before last, I woke up ten minutes or so after I fell asleep to see a giant pulsing hive made out of bones hanging down from my bedroom ceiling, throbbing and pulsing and disgorging an endless swarm of clicking and clacking bone bees, which swarmed all over my face and my chest, coiling and constricting, squashing into my nose and mouth and ears, drowning me as they blocked any way for air to get in, with their buzzing getting deep into the back of my head, growing in pressure and intensity, exploding outwards until it felt as if my eyes were going to burst out of their sockets and my head was going to shatter.

And then it went black and I woke up again.

Does someone want to read me a nice bedtime story?

Your nasty hypnogogia/dreams usually seem to be bug-related.

Has this always been the case? Did this increase with your year in Australia?

any of those you found difficult? any that had the dreaded "multiple correct answer, but they're not going to give you extra credit for Miles Morales, Ben Reilly and Miguel O'Hara" answers?

They always gave the secret identity and we had to "guess" the superhero name. I knew that Peter Parker wasn't going to be Dusk, Prodigy, Ricochet or Hornet.

Does Hank Pym or Rick Jones have the most alter egos over the years?

Must be Pym. Rick was just a sidekick to Hulk and Captain Marvel. He was never actually Mar-vell's alter-ego or anything - he was displaced in the Negative Zone when Cap was at large.

Did he become the new Bucky for a while? Aside from that, he's only been A-Bomb in recent Hulk stories.

Pym has been Ant-man, Giant Man, Yellow-jacket, the Wasp, Dr. Pym.... am I missing any?

EDIT: Did he actually call himself Goliath, or was it just Hawkeye who called himself that?

No, Pym was Goliath when he rejoined the Avengers around #28 and was stuck at 8ft tall.

Pym surely also has the record for most second-hand identities as well - by that I mean people who have reused his old super-hero identities. Two Ant-Men, sort of Amadeus Cho as well (using the ant-man helmet in Mighty Avengers), Hawkeye as Goliath, Bill Foster as Black Goliath, Rita thingywhatsit as Yellow-Jacket, himself as the Wasp.

I think jam contains sugar and the other stuff... doesn't.

This could be a random invention of mine, not a true fact.
