Had a hospital appointment today. The whole purpose behind it seemed to be booking another appointment. Not really angry at this, more frustrated.

had dentist appt today. says we're all done, but I'm with only half of one of my canines. it's a sawn-off tooth!

I'm disgruntled over the fact that I'm yet further down the pecking order if aliens take over and use us a slaves, or make us fight like dogs, and even more upset by the fact that I keep catching my lip with the outside edge of the wee scrappy tooth stump. oh, and that despite being on NHS, it was still over £50. THAT WAS MY STRIPPER MONEY!

I'm kidding.


Of course I kept money aside for the booze and drugs and strippers.

Stacy and I are a little peeved at Air Canada right now. We're trying to get our new kitten shipped to us from Montreal but there are no heated cargo flights coming to Regina. There's a pretty good chance I'm going to have to drive to Calgary to pick the kitten up. What a pain in the ass.

How to Royally Fuck Things Up or The Digital TV Switchover

I expect, come 1 April, after the wonderful TV switchover to have fuck all in the way of a working tele because, from start to finish, all the digi TV stuff has been shit.

Freeview? Doesn't work in our area, due to a shit transmitter near Crystal Palace! Will it be improved? Who the fuck knows?

Freesat? We have a dish, we have a TV, Freesat doesn't like our tele - it's only 6 years old, had built-in Freeview, bought it in part to avoid this sort of crap, but oh look, they've found a way to nobble it.

What do I want? Simple: I switch TV on, it has a good picture, I can get subs if I want them, reasonable channel selection. That's all! Can I get it? FUCK NO!

I just hope the various online players we access via Ps3 don't get fucked over by this.

I can't help but see the entire thing as a massive cash cow for the TV industry/tech sector because there was no absolutely reliable advice, just bastards wanting to sell stuff.

i am starting to hate my job. i don't feel appreciated, no one in charge is competent, i'm constantly having to re-do things, and i'm getting really upset at this point at some of the staff who tease me because i'm still in school. EVERY time i see them now it's "How's school?" *chuckle* Aren't you done yet? How long has it been again? And how old are you again?" i already feel bad enough about it as it is, i don't need them rubbing it in my face every single time i go to work.

at this point, i'm tempted to blurt out why i'm still in school, as i'm convinced it would make them feel very uncomfortable and would shut them up. however, it's none of their business, so perhaps in the future i'll just remind them that none of them have a university degree, so to kindly shut the fuck up.

there's also this one little prick that is a new staff member, and he talks down to me. i've been here longer than any of the staff, not just the ones with the same position as me, yet he has the audacity to talk to me like he's my superior. i really despise him.

I'm enraged at your inability as a Canadian to handle this situation!

Let me help you.

Step 1: Invite the aforementioned offenders to dinner. Buy them EVERYTHING they want to eat and drink.

Step 2: Make sure the enemy has eaten to the point of being completely stuffed.

As for me am annoyed that the NHS in the last 2 weeks has stolen 6 1/2 hours just in waiting time and over £10 in parking. Then add on the prescription charges and such. Bah

After about 2 weeks of hassle I now have a laptop again. HUZZAH!

For anyone do didn't know this beforehand like me: If someone gives you Mircosoft's Support number and they aren't from Microsoft (even if you get it from a company like McAfee) it's more than likely to be a scam. I don't think it was intentional on McAfee's part to give me the wrong number since they gained nothing from it but still, be warned.

Next week I got my first talk with the new contact person from the city's social services. Which means having to do the whole "Story of My Life" again, and hoping she is a sympathetic person who can understand my problems. It's next week but it's already stressing me out terribly.

This week has pretty much sucked. Just found out my older sister is probably going to go to prison for a long time. We haven't had a very good relationship for a while now, but she'd been trying hard over the last 8 months to get her life together. Unfortunately the cops and DA in the area have been hell bent on making sure she goes away for a long time (while at the same time refusing to do anything about crimes commited against my family since all these legal shenanigan's started up).

It's frustrating and sad.
