I have a question - I just bought the Arkham pack with Robin, Nightwing, and the Batman skins and I'm wondering how to use the Batman skins in the story mode of the game. Do I have to start a new game or wait until I beat it?
Just before Christmas they released the code to play with it.

Also, there is a Batman Inc skin that isn't in that pack, if you want that you have to get it seperate (It's free). To unlock this, simply press the following combination on the Main Menu screen (after you have selected your save slot):- Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down. You will get an audio confirmation and when you continue your game, you will get the option to select your favorite skin.

As to Robin and Nightwing, I'd say finish the game. Finish a good chunk of the challenge mode as bat and cat and see if you feel you have the appetite to play the same challenges again as a 3rd or 4th character.

I am still in the main story, and so far I haven't asked
for help like I did with Asylum. That is good.

Hey MartinI've finished the main story and I'm doing the side missions. I've unlocked all of Batman's gadgets apart from one, which is locked - doesn't even tell me what it is. It's on the far right of the bottom row. Should I be concerned that I haven't got it yet, or does it unlock through doing the side missions?
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. The bottom right gadget is the remote batarang, which is available from the start...?

Yeah, it's a side mission. If you've finished the story then it will already be on your books "Hot and Cold".
It's very short.

Think one of the destructible Harley heads in the Steel Mill has glitched tho. I've destroyed it, but it's still listed on the map (the only one left) and it's not registered on the Riddler challenges. Unless there's one below or above it I'm not seeing, but that seem unlikely. (it's in the big room reused for a predator challenge).

Cheers guys, got it yesterday.

Same happened for me. I think if you leave the mill and come back to it once you've destroyed the rest of the heads it "respawns". Destroying it last unlocks / completes the Riddler challenge.

Yeah, went back in to clear up the trophies today and it had respawned. It was just really odd, because I'd destroyed it on a previous run through.Same happened for me. I've just got the Identity Theft Killer side mission and Riddler stuff now. I was looking for a Riddler trophy marked on the map as over the wall, which I couldn't see. So I managed to glide over the wall, looking for it. Got machine-gunned down by cops. Which is cool. (It turned out to be in a bunker set into the wall).

The AR by the Joker's hideout also took me the longest. I kept getting to within 5 feet of the final beacon and would land. It was SO frustrating because I could taste the victory, only to be met with "augmented reality training, failed." Tear worthy, indeed!
I KNOW! I kept smacking face first into the wall above the opening, OR coming to a graceful landing right in front of the entrance. This one took me easily ten times as long as the other ARs. I finally managed to get the timing right, which involved releasing the dive right after passing the third ring, and then being very careful in adjusting my pitch.
That 180 didn't take me as long as I thought it would, I got a little lucky. But it was a bit of a pain, just because the first several times I did it, I would end up making the dive and 180, but then I'd glide right into a stupid street lamp.
Lol, you guys made that one WAY too hard. You don't need to pull a 180. I forget the exact way I did that one, but it basically involved passing through the top one, then making a WIDE turn at high altitude until I was already facing the right direction, and THEN divebombing through the bottom one and flattening out. It only took me a few tries once I figured that out.
I just got finished Wonder City, and loved the
I've gotten fairly good at fighting. It took me a while to learn to use Counter only as a last resort, as it breaks combo strings, and to instead use the XX flip dodge, which allows me to instantly combo into another opponent. I also invested early in the combo+ ability that gives you bonus points for timing your attacks well. I have most of the trophies in Park Row and a few other areas, I'd say I'm maybe around half finished with them? I still need to get a 5x variation and a bunch of the little ones though, and already know how to get a bunch of them but just don't have the tools yet (or the patience).
Also, once you start unlocking a bunch of advanced tools, groups of enemies become a lot easier to take out, like you can sonic one, disable the weapons of two, etc.
It took me a while to get used to not being able to jump, or wall-scramble like in AC, you can do without it, but a lot of the time it's just frustrating that there is a low object or obstacle that you cannot get past because there's no grapple point nearby, when clearly Batman should be able to pull himself over or onto it.

, I hate the shield and armored enemies, individually they're no problem, but the ways of dealing with them involve fighting them leave you wide open unless they're the last enemies around, in the meantime they're a constant hassle. And God forbid one of the picks up a gun or knife.
I did manage to get a lot of challenges and trophies out of the way though, like the 5x variation one, the "blow up something an enemy is holding" one, stuff like that, and a bunch of riddles too. I have most of the upgrades unlocked too at this point, I'm still missing one layer of ballistic armor, the free-flow gadgets one, one sealed one in the bottom right corner of gadgets, and all the Catwoman stuff.

Played a bit more today. Beat Freeze, found Nora, fought Hatter.

I find I rely a lot on using disarm/destroy (which also destorys shields permanently so they can't be picked up again) and combo takedown (to get rid of armoured guys) in NG+.
In standard the armoured guys are less of a problem as you have the visible block so you can easily block incoming attacks during a beatdown.

I played through the campaign on hard so I would be somewhat prepared for the Riddler's Revenge and new game+. Let's see if I can be the hero Gotham deserves when I take a crack at new game+ tomorrow.
I never leave the Batcave without my Blue and Gray 70's Batsuit, either .
edit: If you're on X-Box Live and would like to add me, feel free. My gamertag is in my siggy.
