These TMNT figures look sweet and give me hope for the upcoming Nick cartoon. I'd like to see some based on the IDW comic next.

Top pic is from the upcoming CGI cartoon series, and bottom pic is an update of the classic toon Turtles.

Some leaks have emerged about upcoming Transformers Fall of Cybertron figures. Shockwave (yay!), Jazz (meh), Optimus Prime (meh) and (presumably) all five Combaticons that can combine into Bruticus. There are pics at least of the head and shoulders of Bruticus, which looks fairly gestalty and then Brawl and Swindle in both modes, which looks great.

zomga! i knew about Shockers, Jazz and Optimus Prime, but had only seen Bruticus mentioned in people's wishful thinking. I might be up for all those 'Cons then, depending how they look. Definitely after Shockwave if he's the same or close enough to the WFC model.

TF Prime stuff also continues to be announced. Airachnid will be mine! Also, the Takara Tomy (Japanese) versions of the main Prime line will include Minicon (Micron) partners that form weapons. Not all guns either, there's some sweet blades, yo! There's also a series of Microns being released in Japan as gashapon so some of the toys may cross over. I'm really hoping for western releases of these little guys from Hasbro, as picking up the Japanese releases will be more than costly, but if that's the only option I may well splash out on one or two.

Those look great! Always loved the turtles ever since the original comic series and even into the cartoons and movies. (Even though they were toned down for the kids.)

I'll be picking these up for sure!

Got some of the latest Joes today - Law & Order, Hazard Viper, Sci-Fi and Lifeline. Quite pleased, I managed to get them off eBay for minimum bid - £10 for each of the Joes, £7 for the Cobra. Postage was really cheap as well. Was so impressed with the seller I went and bought TF Generations Wheeljack off them before I'd even opened all these guys.

Anyway, dimly lit pictures!

ooh, the more I see of Sci-fi the more I'm tempted. Going to have to get Lifeline as well. Not too bothered about the others, mind. Kapow toys has this lot in stock now, and they've a few other things I fancy. Might have to splurge. Spent most of last night and a good hour and a bit today looking at ebay for Transformers I've missed from this past year, since most of the new Prime line isn't that appealing to me. Of course, if I don't get any older ones, I know I'll be pre-ordering the upcoming FOC Combaticons!

Oh yeah, so they have. I thought they'd passed through retail entirely already as Star had them in and out of stock already. I've got Airtight and a Zombie Viper on the way from someone in the US. Beyond that, I'm just after a Techno-Viper and maybe a couple of the new Vipers.

Oh and Sci-Fi is great. I love the fully closed mask, it's quite intimidating, almost like it's the kind of thing a Cobra should have. Law is exceptionally cool as well. Lots of weapons, including a pistol with a removable silencer that stores on his thigh (though I doubt many military police dog handlers usually have silenced pistols).

Oh yeah, I want a 30th Ann. Viper to bulk out my squad. Am going to have to think seriously about what I'm really wanting to go after this year. I'd probably be ok with just a few more Cobras and the rest of the main Joes I don't have (Scarlett, Duke and I dunno, Stalker, or Beachhead or some of them types). Lifeline is a full on nostalgia thing. Also he's the GI Joe equivalent of the Protectobots' First Aid, which is pretty cool. Too many Joes too difficult to obtain without horrendous shipping charges from the US.

Considering ordering a Case of Transformers. I only really want 4 or 5 of them, have the other 3 already, but it's just looking like it'll be easier and probably cheaper. Anyone need a Thunderwing, Skullgrin or Dirge?

Stumbled across the Mongrol ABC Worrior statue online. Didn't realise it had been released. Unfortunately $250 is a bit rich for my tastes.

he really is. So different from Tracks as well (they share a base body type) and really all I wanted in a Wheeljack toy. And to think, before I saw it, I didn't even really know I wanted a Wheeljack toy. I mean, I want toys of all the Transformers, but Wheeljack wasn't near the top of my list, but after I got Tracks and knew how good he was, Wheeljack was a must. Also: Wheeljack! Jack dem wheels!

In other news: Toyfair in NYC this weekend. Hasbro done gone announced that there be 40+ new Generations Transformers planned for over the next year. In addition there will be a bunch more TF: Prime stuff, and some other stuff. They've also shown off some of the new GI Joe movie-related stuff. I've not seen pics yet, but thinking I'm going to be quite tempted by little plastic Rock and Bruce Willis toys.

I really wanna get Generations Wheeljack, and I say that already having Tracks. HasTak have raised the complexity of their figures amazingly in the last 5-odd years to the point where even the cheap "for kids" lines are well designed and have appeal to adults who appreciate good engineering and mechanical design.

Definitely. Wheeljack/Tracks is a great example of that. I absolutely love the new Jazz they came up with, but it's not so much that they're doing anything that difficult or new, but just that they're doing it flawlessly there. Wreck-Gar is a good one for getting you thinking "but...what? how does that go from that to that?". Having grown up with TFs and been manipulating pieces of plastic and metal from one shape into another since I was old enough to hold stuff, I can usually figure out the basics of a transformation by looking at pictures of the 2 modes, but that one had me stumped. I even struggled, and ultimately failed to put him back into bike mode recently. I'm quite liking the look of some of the Prime toys for this same reason. the First Edition Bulkhead toy sounds like it's a bit of a wonder to transform, so it's a real shame I won't be getting my hands on that any time soon.

Right now I'm just eagerly awaiting Toyfair pics.

Hasbro are making a Marvel Universe Death's Head figure! DEATH'S HEAD! I think that gives a free pass to kick a puppy or something now.
