Ever heard of a greatest hits CD?
Well this is a variation of that. Here goes:
Todd Gross' pic of black socks at a beach
Jim O'hara's pic of mowing a lawn in a dress
My whole "unladylike" debacle
That's all I can think of for now. You can all fill
in the rest.

They used to shit themselves then when the game finished we'd let them in on the joke. It was only slightly evil.

I don't know why I keep bringing this up. Back in the day I used to have to shut down talk of this all the time. But...
On a personal level, I enjoyed he Telenovela group story we created.
Ah, memories.
Favorite moments for me:
The bitch-slap-a-thon (in pictures) that I had with someone (forget who) that no longer posts at MW.
The very first "Who ARE you, anyway?" I got from Lorcan.
The thread I started for C.A.M. (Canadian Alliance of Millarworld) which was short lived, even though I promised everyone Timbits.
POLE!
The thread in which MWers posted pictures of themselves in their underwear and we had to guess who was who.
Not so favorite moments in MW history:
Shit storms. We used to have them crop up once in a while, one of which involved a certain creator who sucked Silver Age cock, which eventually led to a kind of mass migration of folks from MW to another site.
The suicide note. One of our old MWers (haven't seen him here in ages, unless he changed his online name) posted that he was thinking of committing suicide and EVERYONE started sending him e-mails and trying to track down his phone number to see if he was okay (he was). Even Millar got involved and sent him an e-mail. Scary stuff. I think that was first time we all actually started sharing our personal contact info with each other just in case something similar ever happened again.
The Craig MacD imposter. Someone (who doesn't post here anymore) contacted Stephanie pretending to be me on a fake MSN account that they set up in my name. Stephanie had cut ties with that person (another female) and they thought it would be easier to get in touch with her again by pretending to be me. Said imposter had also threatened violence to another MWer and shit got heavy for a while.
There was also a day when someone here made a rather offensive remark about Kurt Busiek's daughter(s?). They got banned but Busiek himself stepped in asked for the person to be allowed back to MW as it was decided they were trying to be silly rather than genuinely offensive, I think.
EDIT:
OH MY GOD! I can't believe I forgot Henry's Q-Men. And the Whomping Stick.

(I'll include N&CA good times seeing as it's now part of the pub.)

That was 11 years ago...

My favorite Pub moment (and any-message-board-I’ve-ever-frequented moment) was when Jim rallied the MW troops and initiated the Comics for Miqque mission. That was pretty damn cool!
Yeah that was great. Hope Miqque gets his internet back soon.

Really? Bloody hell we're getting old.
Indeed. That said, it was posted in General Comics, not the Pub. And nobody quit the forums over it.

Ah, right. Forgot it was in the General forum. Age and memories don't mix well.
