As much as I love Phil Anselmo's Down I'm inclined to agree.

I've had their latest album Unto the Locust on constantly for the past month and a half. Can't get enough of it!

When Phil Anselmo belts: "walk", you'll run... When he belts: "run", you'll approach escape velocity.

Captain EO gave my little sister nightmares and made her afraid of 3D, but I still liked this song.

Saw Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson live last night. In the first half of the concert he played Thick as a Brick, Tull's 1972 concept album, in its entirety. In the second half of the concert, he played the new Thick as a Brick 2 concept album in its entirety. Both halves featured costumed actors playing/singing the parts and filmed interludes to tie everything together.

I am happy to report that the material on TAAB 2 seems to be every bit as good as the original TAAB :)

Was in a dance-y mood this morning so had The Orb playing on my morning commute:

Went in by my local music store on the way home. They had a few of the Original Album Series in their preowned section and I picked up a copy of the Paul Butterfield Blue Band one (which was in pretty much mint condition).

I've always loved this song, I've only ever listened to it through my iPod headphone though. I've just been lucky enough to hear Disintegration played from a vinyl record on a massive set of speakers, it was really quite something, I've never heard anything like it before, what a song.

Yes they're nice. I love their version of Lady Gaga's Telephone.

Some songs need to be played loud and accompanied by frantic bouncing around the flat:
