People in Chat probably saw this coming but I can't change my avatar at all for some reason. No link I've tried works and uploading any from my laptop won't work since I'm not a subscriber. Flickr images are a no go too. Any ideas on how to sort it?
Tried a flickr link again and it came up with: 'Could not save the URL image specified'.
Oh well, facebook pic it is then.

I had exactly the same problem when the board first changed to its current version. After everybody explained several times in painstaking detail why it was my fault, I eventually found a solution: I chose to keep grey-head-guy as my avatar

I use Photobucket and it works fine. Sometimes sites like Flickr use a strange URL that doesn't link directly to the image, but as long as your URL ends in the file type (.jpg, .gif, .png etc.) there shouldn't be a problem.

Nope, nothing's working at all. Flickr still won't work, Photobucket won't work and any random image from Google won't work either even if it ends in JPEG.
