Well ... it means you can attach a file.
You need to be in the 'more options' reply screen. Click on 'Choose File'. Select a file from your computer. Then click 'attach this file' and it will upload it to the bountiful paradise that is the MW server.
Then a little banner will appear with your uploaded file, and the option to 'add to post' - click this ... et voila!

I prefer keeping a photobucket account. I can use that to post pics to other sites if I ever choose (my Galvatron "This Is Bad Comedy" pic is often useful elsewhere) and it means I'm not clogging up the MW server with any junk and/or material that the SOPAtrons might consider a bad no-no thing.

There is a limit to how many files you can have uploaded to MW as well, so while it is handy for attaching images to posts, you can run out of space and have to go back and delete some.

it's also really annoying in that you have to be logged in to millarworld to view the images, so if you just hop on to lurk you can't see anything (i'm looking at you familiar, with your internet images posts!)

Why would you just lurk without logging in?

lots of non members visit this site to see what MM is doing. Also, my browser logs me out each time I close down, so if I just quickly want to browse what people are saying or check out funny pictures I don't always want to log in again, and just logging in to look at pictures posted can be annoying so yeah. It's weird because you have to download the pics to see them. I don't know why, but maybe its something to do with the new update? can't remember it happening before. It's pretty annoying really. much like that floating sign in bar
