not think theres a thread for this elsewhere, but if there is, forgive me for starting a second one.

so what do you guys think of grimm. i really enjoyed the first episode and think it'll get better and better with each episode. there is a massive feel of buffy/angel about it, but theres also a fair amount of charm and i dare say in the future there will be alot of heart to the show. but i guess we'll see huh?

You know, I think there was a Grimm thread before, don't know where it went...:)

I watched the first couple of episodes online, it didn't interest me enough to keep watching it as it aired at the same time as Supernatural and Fringe.

I think the main character is boring and it's missing a strong female character (the girlfriend doesn't cut it). I still watch it sometimes, but it's far down my watch list, so I'm weeks behind.

I like it, it's a lot of fun. Ogul's right though, the main character and his girlfriend are a bit boring, something needs to happen for them to get more of a drive. I do like Monroe, Silas Weir Mitchell is really good.

Either way, the episodes in and of themselves are usually pretty smart and entertaining. And I think the series is going to keep getting better; there is a sense of direction that is still a bit vague, but that I've got a feeling will allow the show to blossom once it's developed its sense of purpose.

I mentioned it on the what are you watching thread after seeing the first episode.

I think I said something like, "It was better than I expected but not as good as it should have been".

I will probably keep watching but it's not on my must-see list at the moment.

I like it as well. Monroe is pretty making the show work right now beside the freak of the week villain. the most intriguing character is the cop's boss. the episode with him and the reaper was very interesting and would like to see more of him.

Just getting into it. So far it's better than 'Alcatraz', which isn't saying a lot, but still good news.

I'm with it for now.

I agree it needs more direction. I'm up to date with US schedule and still want something to really grab my attention.

The lead feels like a bit of a charisma vacuum - he's the least interesting part of the show. That can work if you have enough supporting characters, ala Buffy, but I'm not sure even that would carry it beyond a season or two.
